What the online appointment is for

You can complete many steps online. Some steps still need an office visit. The appointment system controls those visits.

  • LERIS account with a verified email

  • One recent ID style photo on a plain background

  • Valid government ID

  • Details that match your ID exactly

  • Stable internet and an updated browser

Book an appointment step by step

  1. Sign in to your LERIS account

  2. Choose the transaction you need

  3. Complete the online form for that service

  4. If the system asks for payment, pay through the channels shown in your account

  5. Select Appointment and choose the PRC office or service center

  6. Pick a date and time with open slots

  7. Confirm the booking and save the appointment slip

Tips

  • If your city shows zero slots, check nearby offices or check again when new batches open

  • Use the exact name and birthdate on your ID to avoid a No record found message later

After booking

  • Download or print the appointment slip

  • Save your receipt and any reference number

  • Read any office specific reminders on the slip

  • Set a reminder on your phone

Reschedule or cancel

  • Open the same transaction in your dashboard

  • If Reschedule appears, choose a new date and time

  • If there is no Reschedule option, cancel and book again when the next batch opens

  • Keep the latest slip and discard the old one

What to bring on the day

  • Valid government ID

  • Printed appointment slip if the office asks for a hard copy

  • Payment receipt or reference number if payment was made online

  • Any supporting documents listed in your transaction

  • For initial registration, bring the Oath Form if required by your office

Dress neatly. Arrive at least fifteen minutes early. Follow security and queue instructions at the site.

If someone will go on your behalf

  • Signed authorization letter

  • Photocopy of your valid ID

  • Representative’s valid ID

  • Any original documents that the office requires for that transaction

Match your name and birthdate to your valid ID. If you once created a second account, ask support to merge or deactivate the duplicate.

Fully booked office
Try another date or another office. New slots appear in batches.

Payment pending
Wait a few minutes then refresh the dashboard. Keep the receipt. If pending remains past the stated time, contact support with the reference number and a screenshot.

Photo rejected
Use a plain background, forward facing pose, no filters, correct size and file type.

Captcha keeps failing
Close extra tabs, refresh the page, use a stable connection, or try another browser.

Wrong email or lost mailbox
Use the password reset if you still control the email. If not, request an email update from support with valid ID photos.

Security and privacy

  • Use a unique long password stored in a password manager

  • Turn on two step verification if available

  • Add a backup email and confirm your mobile number

  • Sign out on shared computers and clear the browser cache
