GDPR Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Contact data you submit such as name and email

• Content you submit such as comments and messages

• Usage and device data such as pages viewed, IP address, approximate location, browser, and identifiers stored in cookies or local storage

• Advertising and analytics data from partners including Google

Why we process your data and our legal bases

Notes

• In the EEA and UK we do not set analytics or advertising cookies unless you give consent in our cookie banner.

• If you withdraw consent we stop processing for those purposes.

Cookies and consent

We use a Google-certified consent platform to capture and pass your choices. Use the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of the site to review or change consent at any time. Your choices are stored and respected on repeat visits from the same browser.

Recipients

We share limited data with service providers that host the site, deliver email, protect security, measure traffic, and serve or measure ads. These providers act under contracts that restrict use of your data. Examples include hosting, email delivery, security and anti-abuse tools, analytics, and advertising partners such as Google.

International transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country. Where the law requires safeguards, we rely on measures such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, combined with technical and organizational protections.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it. Example settings

• Contact messages: up to 24 months

• GA4 event data: per our GA4 retention setting, for example 14 months

Your rights

You can request:

• Access to your data

• Rectification of inaccurate data

• Erasure in allowed cases

• Restriction of processing in certain cases

• Data portability for data you provided

• Objection to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing
  You can also withdraw consent at any time. This does not affect processing done before withdrawal.

How to exercise your rights
Email car.application@prc.gov.ph or admin@prcboard.ph. We may ask for information to verify your identity. We aim to respond within one month.

You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. UK users may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Children

This site is for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect data from children under thirteen years of age. We do not show personalized ads to minors.

Automated decision-making and profiling

We do not make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects based only on automated processing. If you give consent, advertising partners may profile your interests to show personalized ads. You can refuse or withdraw consent in Cookie Settings.

Google services used

• Google AdSense for ad delivery and measurement. In the EEA and UK we request consent before using identifiers for personalized ads. If consent is not given, we serve limited or non-personalized ads.

• Google Analytics 4 for usage measurement. IP anonymization is enabled where available. Retention follows our GA4 setting.

• reCAPTCHA may protect forms against abuse. Its use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms.
